The Convention of Mediterranean Jurists is an annual meeting which brings together all the legal cultures and traditions of the Mediterranean, most of which are civil law traditions. It is also the place where legal professionals and international legal cooperation organisations can meet and initiate contact with the goal of developing joint projects. It allows jurists to work towards dialogue and the

convergence of rights as vectors of legal certainty and factors of economic growth in the Mediterranean.
Every year, the event brings together practitioners, academics and law students from the entire Mediterranean area to take part in round tables and workshops which allow each participant to benefit from the speakers’ experiences and to discuss good practice. The speakers come from many Mediterranean countries.
